Sherry Love (Buford) Armstrong, 75, passed away peacefully April 18, 2025, surrounded by her family, after battling dementia for several years.
She was born at Riverside Hospital in Paducah, KY on April 13, 1950. Sherry graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and received a scholarship to study art at Murray State University. After school, she started her own medical therapy massage business (Myotherapy Treatment Center), which she owned and operated for two decades. Her commitment to healing and well-being touched the lives of many, and her clients often became life-long friends. She moved to Texas to finish her career and be close to her family. She moved back to Paducah, KY, to enjoy her final years.
Beyond her professional life, Sherry was an avid crafter and painter. She found joy in creating art and sharing her creations with loved ones. Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored. Sherry’s gentle spirit left an impression on everyone she met.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, James Adrian Buford, and Emma Love (Brown) Buford.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Wyatt, and his wife Heather; her two grandchildren, Hayden and Savannah Wyatt all of Colorado Springs, CO. Also survived by her daughter, Amy Wyatt of Paducah, KY. In addition, her brother, Tim Buford, his wife, Karen and their children and grandchildren.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home at 120 Memorial Drive in Paducah, KY, with visitation starting at 11AM and services at 1PM. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please donate to either St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Awake Dementia Organization in her honor.
