Shelia Yvonne Baker, a spirited soul renowned for her musical talent and joyful heart, passed away on May 29, 2024, in Arlington, Kentucky.

Born on May 5, 1957, in Princeton, Kentucky, to the late Randall Morris and Virginia Sue Parham Morris, Shelia's zest for life and her contagious laughter left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was a cherished member of the Moose Club in Mayfield, she infused her love for music into every aspect of her life. As a multi-instrumentalist playing piano, guitar, and drums, she infused the rhythms of joy with her band "Laid Back Band." Shelia's hobbies reflected her vibrant nature; she took pleasure in sewing, swimming, and fishing, each activity done with her unique flair. Beyond her interests, Shelia will be remembered as the matriarch who was witty, sarcastic, and always equipped with a funny anecdote. Her protectiveness and loving nature were the cornerstones of the many relationships she nurtured throughout her blessed life. Her memory will be carried in the melodies she played and the hearts she touched.

Shelia is survived by a daughter, Shelia Gamble of Metropolis, Illinois; two sons, Joe Paul Gamble and Dustin Lee Oliver both of Milburn, Kentucky; her significant other, Harlan Holland; three brothers, Jerry Lee Morris of Mayfield, Kentucky Charles Allen (Shelia) Morris of Melber, and Ricky Dean (Christina) Morris of Cadiz, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Austin Gamble, Quincy Gamble, Faith Gamble, Lucas Gamble, Jon Oliver, and Jase Baker; four great grandchildren, Camden Gamble, Sophia Gamble, Emma West, and Elijah West.

Shelia was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Baker; a brother Johnny Lavern Morris; and her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington, with Bro. David Sphinx officiating. Burial will follow at Milburn Cemetery in Milburn, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until the service hour of 12:00 PM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
