Sharon Davis, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at 11:08 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 31, 1940, to the late Bill and Anna (Maruscak) Kasher, Sharon carried a wonderful spirit throughout her long life. She dedicated many years to shaping young minds as a beloved Preschool Teacher while living in California, a profession that brought her great joy.
Sharon's greatest pride was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Wendy Jackson (Jerry) of Woodland Hills, California, and Cally Davis of McKinleyville, California; and her sons, Mike Davis (Jessica) of Paducah, Kentucky, and John Davis of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also leaves behind nine cherished grandchildren: Austin Davis, Tyler Davis, Cole Davis, Michelle Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Kim Jackson, Dylan Hage, Blaize Davis, and Kael Davis.
Sharon leaves behind a community that will miss her dearly, including many special friends, neighbors, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Millard Davis; her sister, Marilyn Wylie; her brother, Billy Kasher; and her parents.
Following cremation, the family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
