Sanford A. Richardson, age 84, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at Mercy Health Lourdes at 10:32 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025. Sanford was born on October 19, 1940, to Waylen Richardson and Grace Allen Richardson. Sanford was a graduate of North Marshall High School and a member of East Baptist Church. Sanford retired from SKW Aloys-CC Metals in Calvert City, Kentucky. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed watching Western movies and spending time outside growing vegetables and flowers.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mary Neihoff Richardson, two sons, George Richardson, Paducah, Kentucky, and David Richardson, Oregon; several grandchildren; one sister, Ann Cutsinger, Benton, Kentucky; one niece, Tonya Matherne; and one nephew, Carton Cutsinger.
Preceding in death were his parents, Waylen and Grace Richardson.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Wooley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
