Sandra Nance Gourley

Sandra Nance Gourley, age 79, of Melber, Kentucky, passed away at 9:18 am Friday, February 28, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Sandra was born on November 3, 1945, to James Willard Nance and Margie Garnett Nance. Sandra was a member of the Owens Chapel Methodist Church in Melber, Kentucky. Sandra was a retired accountant and also worked in Human Relations. Sandra enjoyed traveling with family, painting, and her quiet time reading. She also enjoyed quality time with family.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Luther Scott Gourley; one daughter, Jennifer Gourley (Eric) Hunter, of Farmington, Kentucky; one sister, Tina(Jeff) Skaggs of Mayfield, Kentucky; one brother, Rick (Anne Newberry) Nance of Murray, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Jeff Jones of Folsomdale, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Lisa Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025, at the Owens Chapel Cemetery in Melber, Kentucky, with Rev. Ben Stratton officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
