Ronald Jean Rudolph, known as “Ronnie” to friends and family, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on Sunday, October 21, 1945, in Paducah, Kentucky, he served his country in the United States Army, and was an employee of BellSouth for 36 years. Ronnie brought immense joy and kindness into the lives of all who knew him.

Ronnie will always be remembered for his unwavering love and dedication to his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. A fervent supporter of UK basketball, his enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and he never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite team. And, although he often said “NASCAR’s heart stopped beating the day Earnhardt died”, his love for the sport endured, reflected in his steadfast commitment to watching the race every Sunday, either live or recorded.

Those who knew Ronnie were touched by his loving nature, kindness, and friendly demeanor. He navigated life with an open heart, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be celebrated by his loved ones and the community he adored. Ronnie's gentle spirit and genuine concern for others will be profoundly missed.

Mr. Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Renee Stowe (Archie) of Marion, Kentucky; his son, Russell Brewer (Tina) of Madisonville, Kentucky; his brothers, Larry Rudolph (Jan) and Eddie Rudolph (Frances), all of Paducah; his grandchildren, Danielle Smith (Matt), Sarah Vinson (Will), Emily Almon (Lucas), Aaron Brewer (Paige), Nicole Bebout (Cole), and Jennifer Congenie (George); many beloved great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rudolph was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Ruth Hodge Rudolph; his daughter, Patti Vinson; his parents, James Thomas Rudolph and Thelma Louise Presley Rudolph; and his brother, Thomas Rudolph.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, with Rev. Justn Mason officiating. Burial with military funeral honors will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Lone Oak Chapel.
