Robert Eugene Davis, aged 62, passed away at his home on January 8, 2025. Born on December 31, 1962, in California, he was a beloved community member known for his generous spirit, personality, and dedication.
Robert spent most of his time mowing lawns in the community. Treating each customer like family, his dedication to his work, and the joy he took in mowing yards were evident to all who knew him. He especially cared for the elderly in his community, often going above and beyond to assist them in any way he could.
Robert loved to ride his motorcycle and fish, yet it was the love and warmth he held for his family that truly defined him. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Robert is survived by his wife of 20 years, Margaret Davis; two daughters, Cat Neville, of Clinton, Kentucky and Erica Shambo, of Bardwell; one son, Bill (Sarah) Neville, of McKenzie, Tennessee; a sister, Shelly Thompson; and six grandchildren, Cassidy Harper, Ciara Harper, Kylee Harper, Zoey Neville, Olivia Neville, and Liam Neville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial service will be held for Robert on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Bardwell.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Bardwell.
