Robert (Bob) G. Murray, of Riverside, MO passed away peacefully in his hometown on December 26, 2024. He was born on March 14, 1957, in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Robert Walter and Mary Cappie Sisk Murray. Bob was of the Catholic faith, and a respected professional who dedicated many years to electrical maintenance before his retirement.
Bob's life was a testament to his love for the great outdoors. He found joy and tranquility in fishing, camping, and hunting, embracing the beauty of nature at every opportunity. His passion for the wilderness was matched only by his enthusiasm for sports. A loyal fan, Bob never missed a chance to cheer on his beloved Kansas City Chiefs and the University of Kentucky Basketball team, celebrating their victories with the same vigor he brought to every aspect of his life.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Meagan (Miller Inman) Murray of Nashville, TN; his son, Patrick Murray of Paducah, KY; two sisters, Marcie Robinson of Paducah, KY and Nadie Vance of Paducah, KY; one brother, Bill Murray of Brentwood, TN along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Teresa Murray.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
