Robbie Harrell Cruse, born December 11, 1951, in Cairo, Illinois, to the late George and Elaine Hamilton Harrell, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Bardwell, Kentucky.
An enthusiastic cook, Robbie delighted friends and family with her culinary creations, infusing love into every dish she prepared. Her talent for floral arrangements was evident in the beauty she cultivated, turning simple blooms into works of art. Above all, Robbie's greatest pleasure was the cherished time spent with her grandchildren, instilling in them the values of kindness and creativity. She was an extraordinary woman, and if you knew her you loved her.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Todd) Morris of Paducah and Jamie (Anthony) Joyner of Paducah; two sons, Curtis Cruse of Paducah and Anthony Cruse of Benton; eight grandchildren, Alex Minton, Kelsey (Loren) Gross, Hailey (Tate) Schroeder, Abby (Kameron) Howle, Taylor (Gavin) Smith, Coen Joyner, Bryce Cruse, and Blakely Cruse; two great-grandchildren, Theo Gross and Axel Gross; three sisters, Jenny Dean of Wickliffe, Tena Harrell of Cairo, Illinois, and Tracey Franklin of East Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two brothers, Bruce Harrell of Cairo, Illinois and Mike (Debbie) Davis of Cairo, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Robbie was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Mark Cruse; four sisters, Lesa McClain, Edna Davenport, Trava Moss, and Margie Davidson; three brothers, Buddy Harrell, Wesley Harrell, and Stephen Farris; and her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Stan Durrett officiating. Burial will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
