Rita Bonee, 74, a heartwarmingly devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a lifelong resident of Kentucky, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Paducah, Kentucky.
Born on January 22, 1950, in Blandville, she filled her home with love and meticulous care throughout her life. Rita's adoration for her family was the essence of her very being, with her grandson Joseph holding an extraordinary place in her heart. Her life was a testament to selfless love, as she sacrificed everything with joy for the well-being of her loved ones. A pristine keeper of her home, Rita also had a passion for shopping, always finding the utmost joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her absence leaves a void filled with cherished memories in the hearts of those who knew her. Rita's legacy of love and dedication will be a guiding light for generations to come.
Rita is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, David Bonee of Paducah, Kentucky; a daughter, Wendy (David) Ray of Boaz, Kentucky; a son, Joseph Michael (Jeffery) Erdman-Bonee of Springfield, Illinois; a grandson, Joseph Taylor of Paducah; and a brother, Steve (Mary Sue) Rollins of Wickliffe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Billie Jackson Rollins; three sisters, Linda Goehring, Joyce Bryan, and Frances Taylor; and a brother, Joe Rollins.
A graveside service will be held at 10:45 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Wickliffe City Cemetery with Bro. Van Russell officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
