Richard Guill Jr.

Richard Guill Jr., 73, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Southgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, Illinois.
 
Richard was born on January 18, 1953, to Richard Douglas Guill Sr. and Judith Arnold Guill in Elmhurst, Illinois.  He was of the Christian faith and a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.  Richard loved to fish and watch sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears.
 
Richard is survived by his daughter, Sherida Phillips, and her husband, David of Boaz, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Olivia Williams, Kadence Phillips, and Steven Phillips; his father, Richard Douglas Guill Sr. of Paducah; a sister, Katie Reid and her husband, Mike of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; a step-brother, Chuck Guill and his wife, Michele of Chesterfield, Misssouri; several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Arnold Guill, his step-mother, Roberta Guill, and a brother, David Guill.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
