Richard E. Titsworth, age 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 4, 2025. Born on Saturday, July 20, 1946, Richard devoted his life to tirelessly serving his community and country.

After honorably serving in the U.S. Navy, Richard lived in Eastern Kentucky for 36 years, where he was a member of the Lion’s Club, serving from 1989-1990 as District Governor for District 43 Y. He was also a member of the volunteer Fire Department in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He and his wife Ann, then moved back to his hometown of Paducah.

Richard was a man of the outdoors, relishing in the joys of hunting, fishing, and gardening. His passion for wildlife and nature was eclipsed only by his deep faith, as a dedicated member of the Lone Oak First Baptist Church.

His life's work and hobbies embodied the spirited heart of a man who cherished community, nature, and faith. Richard's legacy will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched.

Mr. Titsworth is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Williams Titsworth; his son, Bryan R. Titsworth of Paducah; his brother, Glen Titsworth (Linda) of Paducah.

Mr. Titsworth was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. W.L. Titsworth and Margaret McIntosh Titsworth.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. A private family interment will take place at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Vistation will be held from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at the Lone Oak Chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Lone Oak First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3601 Lone Oak Rd. Paducah, KY 42003.
