Ray Clark

Ray Clark, 84, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, in Paducah, Kentucky. Born on May 5, 1940, in Somerset, Kentucky, Ray's life journey was marked by dedication, service, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

Ray proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force, a period of his life that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and commitment. After his military service, Ray embarked on a fulfilling career as a mechanic with AT&T, where he not only showcased his technical skills but also his ability to connect with colleagues and customers alike. His post-retirement years were enriched by his active involvement with the Telephone Pioneers, where he continued to make a positive impact on the community.

Those who knew Ray will fondly remember him as a man who could always be counted on to lend a helping hand. His warm presence and the wisdom he shared will be deeply missed by all.

Ray's legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his son, Philip Clark of Paducah, Kentucky; his grandson, Jim Clark; and his long-time companion, Peggy Clark, also of Paducah, Kentucky. His life was brightened by their love and support, and their memories of Ray will be treasured forever.

Ray was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Erin Clark, his father, Eugene Philip Clark, and his brother, Ralph Clark. Their reunion in eternity is a comforting thought to those who loved them.

Ray's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact one person can have on the lives of many. His gentle spirit and helpful nature will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we bid farewell to Ray, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man well-loved.
