Peggy Joyce Dew, age 88, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Parkview Nursing & Rehab.
Peggy was born on May 30, 1935 in Paducah to Edward Lincoln Niestrath and Elsie Mae Jeffords Niestrath. She loved antiques, auctions and everything quilting. She was the first member of the American Quilters Society. Peggy also enjoyed camping. She always put her family first and made them her top priority. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was great cook that made the best biscuits and gravy. Peggy also had a love for animals, especially her puppies. Peggy was a member of Clarks River Baptist Church.
Peggy is survived by three daughters, Kathryn Lankton and husband, Mark of Reidland, Jane Elizabeth Harned and husband, Rock of Reidland and Nancy Carole Garland and husband, Tim of Mayfield; one son, Stephen Ray Dew and wife, Debbie of Boaz; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Christopher, Justin, Joshua, Jessica, Lauren, Emily, Sarah, Rebecca, Christopher and Nathaniel; and 20 great-grandchildren, Ella, Evan, Bryleigh, Reagan, Caden, Emma Rose, Cole, Cylas, Crue, Brinley, Emmett, Cameryn, Ayden, Elliott, Paxton, Ryder, Hadley Kate, Ryan, Caroline and Selah Kate.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Shirley Ray Dew; two grandchildren, Jason and Brittany; two brothers, Don Niestrath and Harry Niestrath along with her parents.

A graveside memorial service for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Little Obion Cemetery in Wingo, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m.
