Paul E. Herndon

Paul E. Herndon, age 92, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 6:23 A.M. Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
 
Paul was born in Bardwell, Kentucky on Saturday, December 6, 1930 to Johnnie and Gracie Herndon. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan, and a very hard worker, who continued working into his 80’s, after retiring from Modine Corp. He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
 
Mr. Herndon is survived by his granddaughters, Mary LeAndrea Hampton (Chris) and Elizabeth Grenko (Mike).
 
Mr. Herndon was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Dorthy Alexander Herndon; his daughter, Mary Jane Dowell; his son, Louis Edward Herndon; his sister, Jeanette Alexander; his brothers, Bill, Clyde and Robert Herndon.
 
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Dr. Bob Whitter officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Graves County.
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel.
