Patsy Ann Dunnigan, 86, passed away at her home surrounded by her children on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 10:05 AM in Paducah, Kentucky.

Patsy was born on July 16, 1938 in Gilbertsville, KY to the late John and Marjorie Filbeck Powell. She was a graduate of North Marshall High School. Patsy married Jimmy Sims and moved to Cuba, KY where they raised there three children. Later in years after Jimmy passed, she moved to Paducah and married Jim Dunnigan where they built there dream home. Patsy loved her beautiful flower gardens and the birds that frequently visited her backyard. She was thrilled when she was awarded the Paducah Master Gardener Award.  She was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and a longtime employee at West Kentucky Rural Telephone as a customer service rep. Patsy always cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren blessing them with her delicious cooking, and making fun and precious memories that they will always remember.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Dedra) Sims of Middlefield, Ohio; Rhonda (Mark) Kleeman of Columbia, Tennessee and Roger (Lisa) Sims of Hickory; her step-children, Mitzi Clark and Chris Dunnigan both of Benton; her eleven grandchildren, Chris Flint, Jonathan Sims, Shayne Jones, Zach Sims, Rebecca Blackmon, Michael Havelock, Isaac Sims, Sam Sims, Ashley Underhill, Adam Clark, and Hunter Dunnigan; her 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a sister, Marie Norsworthy of Benton along with several nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Jimmy Sims and Jim Dunnigan and a sister, Betty Griffith.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Paul Wingfield and Jamey Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Brookhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 and Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
