Patricia Lynn Walker, beloved wife of Larry Walker, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. She was born in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Sherman and Helen Housman. Patricia loved gospel music and had a beautiful soprano voice. She shared a lifelong love with her husband, Larry Walker. Patricia’s passion for life shone through her singing and her craft of making beautiful jewelry. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Patricia graduated from Lone Oak High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University. She retired from the Kentucky Fire Commission.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry Walker; step-daughters, Maurica (Bobby) Toon of Fancy Farm, Kentucky and Lorri Walker of Bardwell, Kentucky; five step-grandchildren, Matthew Toon, Alexander Walker, Michaela Schneider, Brittani Schneider and Trace Allen Fry; two great-grandchildren, Miles Toon and Natalie Rose Toon; sister-in-laws, Cheryl (Dave) Williamson of Woodbury, Georgia and Janet (John) Dennis of Metropolis, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Martin and Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
