Patricia Kortz

Patricia Rance Kortz, 93, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
 
Mrs. Kortz was a retired Registered Nurse having worked for IC Hospital, Riverside Hospital and Lourdes Hospital.  She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
 
Patricia is survived by two daughters, Julia Ann Weber (Bill) of Louisville and Ellen Marie Wolford of Owensboro; a son, John Edward Kortz (Val) of Paducah; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Beauvais (Jay) of Rockford, Illinois and Sue Derouen (Paul) of Louisville.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jacob Kortz Jr and daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” Kortz.  Her parents were William John Rance and Elizabeth Catherine Welch Rance.
 
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Rev. Brad Whistle officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
 
There will be a private family visitation.
