Pam Davenport, 78, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at the Oakview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Calvert City, Kentucky. She has struggled the last several years with Alzheimer’s Disease, but is now at home, peaceful and whole, with her savior.
Pam was born on July 30, 1946 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Wilbur and Corene Brantley.
Pam is survived by a daughter, Tiffany (Jeff) Griffith of Paducah, Kentucky; two sons, Troy Davenport of Paducah, and Tad Davenport of Calvert City; six grandchildren, Taylor Griffith of Wingo, Kentucky, Brad Griffith of Wickliffe, Kentucky, Tyler (Terra) Griffith of Barlow, Kentucky, Rebecca (Charles) Dunn of Paducah, Jaydee Griffith of Paducah, and Ty Davenport of Calvert City; nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Brent (Jeanette) Brantley of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Regina (Bob) Cook of Marion, Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pam enjoyed her job with Logan’s Roadhouse for many years. She was very blessed to travel with her job to different towns that she got to call her temporary home to meet new people and to give a helping hand to the Logan’s Roadhouse staff.
Pam will be remembered for her kind heart and big smile, but more than anything, her love for her family, friends, and animals. She was full of life and could always make someone laugh. Pam loved people and never met a stranger. Besides spending time with family and friends, Pam had a passion to raise Chow Chow dogs, and people traveled from all over to hand pick puppies from the beautiful bloodline of her show dogs. She traveled around the world showing her show dogs and when she wasn’t in the arena showing her dogs, she was in the center of the ring judging the dog show for the day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Corene Brantley of Marion, Kentucky; and her grandson, Ryan Griffith of Paducah.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Harmony Cemetery in West Paducah, Kentucky with Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
