Ora Dell Tucker

Ora Dell Tucker, age 92, of Arlington, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023, at her residence.
 
Ora Dell was born in Oakton, Kentucky on May 19, 1931, to the late Eddie and Carrie O’Conner Beasley.  She was a long-time member of Arlington First Baptist Church.  Ora Dell loved her church family and enjoyed volunteering, especially in the nursery.  She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed keeping her house well-maintained. Ora Dell loved to cook for her entire family whom she loved dearly, and put everyone's needs before her own. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
 
Ora Dell is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Yates of Lexington, Kentucky, Valeria Bodell (Reno) of Cunningham, Kentucky, and Phyllis Whitlock (Danny) of Fulgham, Kentucky; her son, Michael Tucker (Geneva Smith) of Burkley, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Mindy Garrett (Kris) and Katy Eddleman (Rob), both of Cunningham; and three great-grandchildren, Rorey Eddleman, Reese Eddleman, and Dax Garrett.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Billy Joe Tucker; a son, Randy Tucker; one sister, Nadine Armstrong; and two brothers, Charles Beasley and Thomas Beasley.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. David Sphinx officiating.  Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery. 
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
