Ollena Doris Nashold

Ollena Doris Nashold, age 93, of Clinton, Kentucky, died on November 24, 2024 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

Ollena was born to the late John and Lena Jones on May 26, 1931, in Arlington, Kentucky. She was a member of Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, Kentucky.  One of her biggest passions was cooking.  Ollena loved to prepare big meals for family and friends, especially around the holidays.  She also enjoyed gardening and watching the hummingbirds visit her feeders.  Ollena and her husband often enjoyed watching Dancing With The Stars and Fox News on the television to wind down for the day.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.      

Ollena is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Jane) Nashold of Easton, Maryland, and Byron Lee (Lucy) Nashold, Jr. or Virginia City, Nevada; a daughter, Cheryl Lemke of Columbus, Kentucky; three sisters, Glenda Myer of Jefferson City, Missouri, Emily Jewell of Montgomery, Alabama, and Nellie Mudd of Hickman, Kentucky; a brother; seven grandchildren, Amy Bickling, B.L. Nashold, Steven Callaway, Jason Nashold, Josh Nashold, David Lemke and Lee Lemke; six great-grandchildren, Colton Nashold, Dylan Nashold, Michael Callaway, Bella Lemke, Macy Nashold, and Lena Nashold; and one great-great-grandchild, Milo Callaway.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Byron Nashold; a sister, Evela Richardson; five brothers, James Jones, Henry Jones, Barry Jones, Barkley Jones, and Johnny Jones; and a great-grandson, Conner Nashold.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. David Dixon officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service time of 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the funeral home.
