Natalie Cashon Vestal, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on the 28th of May, 2025, at the age of 61. Natalie was born on September 8, 1963, in Paducah, Kentucky. Her zest for life and love for her family were as memorable as her feisty and strong-willed nature.
Natalie's career spanned more than three decades at Long John Silver's, where she dedicated her hard work and commitment to the team and the community she served. More recently, she brought her vibrant energy and dedication to McAlister's Deli. Through her years of service, Natalie's resilience and work ethic were consistently evident and appreciated by all who worked alongside her.
Beyond her professional life, Natalie's true joy was found in her roles as a mother, a sister, and most affectionately, as a grandmother. Her five grandchildren soaked up her spirited personality and will carry forward the sound of her hearty laughter. She was an avid fan of the television shows "Lucifer" and "Supernatural," her evenings often filled with the suspense and drama that unfolded in her favorite stories.
Natalie is survived by her two children, Kristi Langston of Paducah and Kevin McCarty of Brookport, Illinois; one sister, Karen (Stephen) Hendley of Mayfield; two brothers, John P. (Marcelle) Cashon of Paducah and Kenneth Cashon (Patricia Byron) of Winter Park, Florida; five grandchildren, Ethan Langston, Carson Langston, Robbie Hughes, Ryleigh Hughes, and Dolly Summersgill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John J. Cashon and Betty Whitaker Cashon.
A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the funeral home.
