Mike Hill, 76, of Arlington, Kentucky, passed away on October 27, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah. Mike was born in Cairo, Illinois, to the late A.J. and Hattie Mae Hill.
Mike was a devoted husband for more than 50 years, a proud father of two, and a cherished grandfather whose face would light up the moment his grandchildren and great-grandchildren came through the door. His family was his greatest joy, and he never missed a chance to show how much he loved them. Mike had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing. He was also a loyal Kentucky Wildcats fan, never missing an opportunity to cheer on his team. Mike even had the pleasure of watching Kentucky beat Purdue on Saturday, surrounded by his grandson and brother.
Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Hill; one daughter, Micah (Russ) Thompson of Cunningham, Kentucky; a sister, Kitty Marlow of Marshall County, Kentucky; a brother, Chris (Veronica) Hill of South Carolina; two grandsons, Truston Thompson and Kendall Thompson; and two great-grandsons, Drayson Thompson and Dixon Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his son, Charles Michael Hill; one brother, Tommy Hill; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington. Burial will follow at Burkley Cemetery, in Burkley, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
