Michelle Fowler, age 58, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Michelle was deeply involved in the Neapolitan Mastiff show circuit, earning recognition for her dedication and expertise. She was especially proud of winning the prestigious Award of Merit at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on May 14, 2024, an accomplishment that highlighted her passion and commitment. Throughout the years, she received many other awards from various dog shows, each one a testament to her love and devotion to the breed.

A lifelong champion for rescue efforts, Michelle worked tirelessly to save and rehabilitate stray, abused, and abandoned animals. Her selflessness knew no bounds-she gave her time, her energy, and her heart to help those in need, even when it was against her own best interest.

Known for always being fashionably late, Michelle made up for it by showing up with her whole heart. Her warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren, creating beautiful memories filled with laughter and love.

Michelle is survived by her loving mother, Midge Cobb, and her stepfather, Ricky Griffin of Heath; her brother, Dennis "Pup" Cobb of Australia; her three children, Josh Fowler and his wife Stacy, Jessica Fowler and her husband Billy, and Justin Fowler and his wife Chay all of Paducah; her adored grandchildren, Logan, Jesslyn,  Noah, Daisy, Lily, Maggie, Raina, Arianna, and Axel, who brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind a community of animal lovers, friends, and loyal clients who will continue to honor her memory.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Cobb; and her sister, Mary Alice Cobb.

A funeral service celebration of Michelle’s life is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the funeral home.

Instead of flowers, donations can be made to support dog rescue efforts through her memorial GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/7fcf1268
