Michael Britt Jones

Michael Britt Jones, 59, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
 
Born in Hickman County, Kentucky, on February 1, 1966, Michael dedicated his life to serving his community, pursuing his passions, and cherishing his family.
 
Michael was best known in his professional career as a dedicated Service Technician at Paducah Tire, where both colleagues and customers appreciated his hard work.
Devotion to faith played a central role in Michael’s life.  A member of Mt. Sterling Church in Brookport, Illinois, he fulfilled his calling as an evangelist, traveling to various churches spreading the word of God.  Music was also a heartbeat for Michael. He relished the joy of playing Bass Guitar with his band, Just Friends.  Michael’s delight in life’s simple pleasures was contagious.  He could often be found on a serene lakeside, fishing rod in hand, or at the local bowling alley, aiming for a strike.  Yet, nothing compared to the time he spent with his beloved grandchildren, where his wisdom, laughter, and love for life were generously imparted.
 
Michael is survived by his wife, Cindy Lou Hall Jones; a daughter, Candice Enyart, and her husband, Junior of Columbus, Kentucky; three sons, Cody Jones and his wife, Dafelyn Joyce of Paducah, Caysey Jones of Columbus, Kentucky, and Jason Spears of Paducah; six grandchildren, FaithLynn, Sean, Hayllee, Carmen, Aden, and Ireland; his mother, Norma Cope Jones of Columbus, Kentucky; a sister, Lisa Jones (Mike) of Columbus, Kentucky; and a brother, Blake Jones of Columbus, Kentucky; a nephew, Derrick Jones of Columbus, Kentucky.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Darol Jones.
 
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Joe Vance officiating.  Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Columbus, Kentucky.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service hour of 1:00 pm on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
