Maryann Huebschmann

Maryann Huebschmann, 91, of Calvert City, Kentucky, passed away at 10:31 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Quincy, Illinois, on January 14, 1934, to the late Herman Harold Norvell and Cleo Beatrice Campbell Norvell.

Maryann worked for Union Carbide and Sears and Roebuck. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she was a member of the choir. Maryann was a member and past president of the Marshall County Art Guild, Ambassador for Marshall County Arts Council. She was a member of the Paducah Area Painters Alliance (PAPA) and the Joy Book Club.
 
Maryann is survived by her son, Matthew (Amy) Huebschmann of Aurora, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Rhett Huebschmann, Sara (Craig) Hughes, Natacha (Scott) Campbell, Andrew Huebschmann, Aarron Huebschmann, Anna Huebschmann, and Molly Huebschmann; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Huebschmann, Sailor Tynes, Ian Hughes, Isla Hughes, Abbigale Huebschmann, Luke Huebschmann, and Crew Campbell; brother, Steven Norvell, and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Huebschmann; sons, Terry Huebschmann and Jerry Huebschmann; niece, Kelly Gayle Kennedy; sister, Phyllis Norvell Lappin; and brothers, Richard Norvell, Robert Norvell, and William Norvell.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
 
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
