Mary Michelle "Missy" Moore, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky. She was born on June 16, 1967, in Jackson, Michigan to Maurice and Kathryn Howard Moore.
Missy spent many years as a beloved bartender at the Elks Lodge and Paducah Country Club, where her bright a smile and friendly conversation became a comforting staple. Beyond her professional life, Missy was profoundly family-oriented, dedicating her time and love to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
An avid lover of Boston Terriers, Missy's pets, Martini and Cosmo, were her constant companions and they were a source of joy and comfort. Missy's spirit was as colorful and lively as the flamingos she adored. She loved to garden and her garden, much like her life, was full of love and tended with an unwavering commitment to the things she cherished.
She is survived by her two sons, William Christopher (Kimberly) Gilliam of Jacksonville, FL and Patrick Neal Gilliam of Clarksville, TN; her two grandchildren, Chloe Michelle Gilliam and Kathryn Alice Gilliam; a brother, Michael Moore; a sister-in-law, Fonda Brown along with nieces and nephews, Darren Moore, Wendy Howard and Holden Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no services scheduled at this time. Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah are handling arrangements.
