Mary "Maggie" Bryan, a long-time resident of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at the age of 88, on November 28, 2024, in the same town where she first saw the world in 1936.

Known affectionately as Maggie, she brought joy to those around her with her unwavering spirit and lively presence. A retired office clerk, Maggie dedicated her time and energy to the local Girl Scout Camp as a Ranger, guiding young minds with kindness and enthusiasm. Her love for life was evident through her passions. Maggie's garden was her sanctuary, a vivid testament to her love for flowers and the tranquility they brought her. She was often found crocheting, creating beautiful pieces for her friends and loved ones, or dancing, her feet moving to the joyous rhythm of life.

Maggie's zest for life extended to the outdoors, where she cherished moments on the lake, embodying the essence of the "party girl" she was known to be. Her infectious laughter and genuine warmth will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Maggie is survived by a daughter, Diana Love of Paducah; a son, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Bryan and sons of Atlanta, Georgia; a grandchild, Thomas (Elizabeth) Helm; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Annalee Helm; a sister, Geraldine (Michael) Buford of Carlisle County; and a brother, Randall (Vicky) Perdew of Paducah.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorenda Rogers; two grandchildren, Brittany and Danielle Rogers; and her parents, Frank and Eva Lee Hodge Perdew.

A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
