Mary "Mack" Swaney

Mary “Mack” Swaney, age 77, of Columbus, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
 
Mary was born in Orlando, Florida on January 27, 1944 to Carl Allen Mack and Bernice “Hyde” Hill.  She was of the Baptist faith.  For many years Mary cooked on numerous tow boats where she will be remembered as being a wonderful cook.  In her spare time, Mary loved to watch westerns, she loved to crochet, fish and camp, and she loved traveling.  She will most be remembered as being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
 
Mary is survived by her husband of 18 years, Ross Alan Swaney; two daughters, Marsha Lynn Wilkening of Aurora, Illinois, and Ellen Louise Bullard of Bardwell; two sons, Paul Allen Kringle of Columbus and D’wayne Bullard (Rebecca) of Oxford, Mississippi; three step children, Tina Black of Florida, Gina Kramer of Massachusetts, Billy Swaney of Connecticut; one sister, Ruth Hart (Chris) of Reidsville North Carolina; 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by one son, Edward L Bullard; two sisters, Barbara Paulus and Jo Davis; two brothers, Hank Hill and Jimmy Hill; and her parents.
 
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. David Dixon officiating.  Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Columbus, Kentucky.
 
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
