Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mary Jo Little, born November 25, 1945, in Mayfield, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest peacefully in her home on November 29, 2024, bringing to a close a life marked by profound kindness and love for others.
Mary Jo was the heart of her home. She treasured her family with a boundless love that defined her life's purpose. Her spirit, a unique blend of compassion and joy, made every gathering memorable. As a faithful member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ, she extended her loving nature far beyond her family, touching countless lives in her community. Her family and friends knew they could always turn to her for wisdom. Conversations with her had a way of making the world feel safer and brighter.
While she is dearly missed, the wealth of wisdom she shared over the years proves to be enough to last a lifetime. Within her family, one can still catch glimpses of her remarkable character - her caring nature, her unwavering thoughtfulness, and that easy laughter that made her presence such a gift to all who knew her. She held a Bachelor of Arts degree, was a professional in the community, and helped support her family.
Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Frank Little of Paducah; two daughters, Cherie (Caleb) Dixon of Nashville, Tennessee and Angie Little of Hendersonville, Tennessee; a son, Matt (Emily) Little of Brentwood, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Alex Thompson, Sophie Little, and Brady Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Thelma Goodgion Featherstone; and a brother, Jerry Featherstone.
