Mary Day Futrell, age 70 of Boaz, passed away at 6:27 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah. She was retired from Tri-Angle Insulation where she was a seamstress. Mary attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She enjoyed quality time with family and especially the grandchildren. Mary was a fan of University of Kentucky Basketball and enjoyed watching the TV Series “Yellowstone.”
Mary is survived by one daughter, Pam (Richard) Pool of Bardwell, KY; two sons, Mike (Trish) Futrell of Paducah and Kevin (Tammy) Futrell of Symsonia, KY; eight grandchildren, Emma Futrell, Ellie Futrell, Carter Gibson, Karlie Gibson, Cody Tynes, Elijah Vann, Landon McReynolds and Justin Futrell; three sisters, Lydia Hicks, Theresa (Kevin) Lambright, Brenda (Gary) Jackson; three brothers, Dan Day, Jess Day, Nathan Day; one sister-in-law, Faith Day; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her husband, Carl Dwain Futrell in August 2021; parents, Milton Day and Addie Hall Day; one sister, Cora Baker; three brothers. Albert Day, Theodore Hall, Charles Day.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October, 28, 2021 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Brother Barry Summerville officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
