Mary Ann Waltman

Mary Ann Waltman, 80 of Spring Hill, TN (formerly of Paducah, KY) passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, at her home in Spring Hill, Tennessee. She was born on July 16, 1944, in Paducah, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Alonzo and Fannie Mae Parkhill Shaw.
 
Mary Ann dedicated her life to inspiring young minds as a respected educator within the Paducah School System. Mary Ann continued to embody the spirit of service and fellowship as an active member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Paducah. Her unwavering faith, steadfast service to her community, and commitment to friends and family left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
 
She is survived by her husband of 58+ years, Terry Kent Waltman of Spring Hill, TN; a son, Jonathan Kent (Michelle) Waltman of Columbia, TN; a sister, Martha Shaw of Culver City, CA; a brother, Glenn Ed Shaw of Moore, SC; three grandchildren, Evelyn Ramsey Waltman, Anna Elizabeth Waltman and Emma Mae Waltman along with several nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on March 1, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Jamie Broome (retired) officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
