Marvin Mason

Marvin Mason, 93, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health-Lourdes.
 
Mr. Mason a retired Educator and Superintendent with the Illinois Schools System.  He was a member of East Baptist Church in Paducah and a U.S. Airforce and U.S. Navy Veteran.
 
Marvin is survived by his daughter, LaDonna Steege (Larry) of LeRoy, Illinois; two step-children, Gary Humphrey (Jerri) and Cheryl Cash (Freddie); two grandchildren, Andrea Hobbs (Andy) and Chad Steege; four great-grandchildren, Morgan Steege, Chase Steege, Austin Hobbs and Alexa Hobbs; four step-grandchildren, Chris Cash, Erin Cash, Michelle Reynolds, and Robert Reynolds; five step-great-grandchildren, Tonia Herndon (Billy), Leigh Ann Goshinsky (Robert), Laura Griffith (John), Ron Humphrey and Eric Humphrey; two nieces and one nephew; and  a brother, Maurice Mason of Indiana.
 
He was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn Vaughn Mason and his second wife, Dorris Ann Sigler Mason; a son, Ronald Terry Mason.  His parents were, Bruce and Ruby Garland Mason.
 
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
