Martha Sue Skinner

Martha Sue Skinner, 90, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee.
 
Born on July 12, 1935, to the late Tommy and Eleanor Hughes Wooley, Martha lived a life full of love for her family and everyone who knew her. Martha could always be found entering the Homemakers Craft Shows and contests in Kentucky. She loved to make enough chocolate-covered cherries for her family during Christmas time. Martha was always willing to give to her church, especially by making decorations with her sister Jeannie. She was also a hard worker; she proved this by raking up pine needles in the yard and using them for mulch in her flower beds. Martha dedicated the majority of her life to her family and will always be remembered for that.
 
Martha is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Mike) Mahon of Eads, Tennessee; a grandson, Jeremy (Lauren) Mahon; two great grandsons, Silas and Rush Mahon; two sisters, Mary Catalano and Jeannie (Jerry) Holler; and her nieces and nephews, Babette McGregor, Rob McGregor, Tammy McBride, James Holler, Lori Arlington, and Troy Wooley.
 
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert B. Skinner; a son, Robert Wayne Skinner; and a brother, Tommy Wayne Wooley, and his wife, Phyllis Wooley.
 
A memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on September 13, 2025, at Destiny Church in Paducah, Kentucky.
