Martha L. Wiggins

Martha  L. Wiggins, age 88, of Paducah, KY passed away at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.  Martha attended Twelth Street Baptist Church and was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church.  She was a 1952 graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School.    Martha retired from Metzger Packing Company.  Martha loved to cook and bake, she was noted for her “Me Maw” dressing and cakes she made and shared for many years.   Martha loved the family gatherings and playing cards.  Martha was a member of Clara Henrich #424 Eastern Star, charter member of Alliance for Retired Americans.  She was awarded the W.C. Young Award,  and was a Kentucky Colonel, Duchess of Paducah and a recipent of Retired Union Fire Fighters Policeman and Widows.
 
Survivors include one daughter, Georganna Wiggins; two sons, Keith (Debbie) Byers and Jeff (Debbi) Wiggins; one step-son, Jesse  (Vickie) Wiggins all of Paducah;  eight grandchildren, Brad (Andie) Byers, Grant (Olivia) Wiggins, Aaron (Aimee) Thorn, Zack Thorn, Jason (Chelsey) Smith, Hailey Wiggins, Clayton Smith, Morgan Wiggins; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
 
Preceding in death were 1^st husband, Ralph Keith Byers Sr, 2^nd husband, George D. Wiggins Jr;  parents, John Thomas Williams and Lilly Catharine Barnett Williams; four sisters, Iva Lucille Griggs, Dorothy Elizabeth Parrott, Dora Geneva Fulcher and Edna Nadine Mann; four brothers, Vivan Thomas Williams, Burea Dallas Williams, John Earl Williams and Adrian Eugene Williams.
 
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Bob Whitter officiating.  Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral of Paducah.
