Mark Bivin

Mark Bivin, 69, of West Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 2:25 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his residence. 

He was born on July 15, 1953 in Paducah to the late Carl V. Bivin and Florence Fisher Bivin. Mark retired after 32 years as a steel worker for Gerdau Steel Company. He was a member of Milburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the United Steel Workers Union Local #550. Mark was a hard worker and always provided for his family. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mark enjoyed traveling and taking rides on his motorcycle with his wife. He never met a stranger and enjoyed life.

Mark is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet Wray Bivin of West Paducah, Kentucky; two daughters, Michelle Wilkins and husband, Jason, of Benton, Kentucky and Tiffany Wheeler and husband, Bobby, of West Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Joshua Bivin of West Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Cindy Runkle and husband, Doug, of Paducah, Kentucky; two brothers, Carl E. Bivin and wife, Elaine, of Benton, Kentucky and Russell Bivin and wife, Connie, of Benton, Kentucky; one brother in law, Ron Runkle of Benton, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Brittany Mathis and husband, Jake, of Benton, Kentucky, Kristen Willie of Benton, Kentucky, Trisha Russell and husband, Cody, of Benton, Kentucky, Zachary Martin of Calvert City, Kentucky, Chase Bivin and wife, Jade, of West Paducah, Kentucky, Kaily Bivin of Marion, Kentucky, Koleton Taber of West Paducah, Kentucky, Ella Wheeler of West Paducah, Kentucky and Jack Wheeler of West Paducah, Kentucky; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Hill and Judy Runkle and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Larry Buchanan officiating.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon on Sunday at the funeral home.
