Marion I. Curcie, born on May 6, 1938, in Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, in Paducah, Kentucky.

Marion was a devoted gardener in her earlier years, Marion found solace and delight in the beauty of her carefully tended flowers and plants. She was very fond of watching television for entertainment, and she cherished these quiet moments of reflection. Marion also shared a special bond with her dog, AJ, whose loyalty and companionship brought her great comfort and happiness. Her love for AJ was evident in the way she spoke of him and cared for him with unwavering affection.

She is survived by four daughters, Cheryl Piazza of Cicero, New York, Melinda Sandford of Pennellville, New York, Tammy (Mark) Jones of Calvert City, Kentucky, and Tina (Winn) Cook of Loudon, Tennessee; two sons, Kip (Jennifer) Curcie of Kevil, Kentucky, and Edward (Becky) Curcie of Colorado; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; a sister, Louise Curcie of West Monroe, New York; a brother, Charles Fletcher of Syracuse, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Curcie Sr.; a daughter, Debora Piazza; four sons, Robert Curcie Jr., David Curcie, Richard Curcie, and Ralph Kranz; a sister, Minnie May Fletcher; two brothers, Fredrick Fletcher and Eugene Fletcher; and her parents, Ernest and Lena Hopkins Fletcher.
