Malinda Richie, 78, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. She was born on February 27, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late James E. Willingham, Sr. and Carrie Millay Willingham. Malinda worked for Don’s Lunch Stand and Central State. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Malinda is survived by her sisters, Patsy Slagle, Marjorie Wilson, Louise Bottoms and Sharon Cunningham, all of Paducah, Kentucky; brother, James Willingham of Symsonia, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Don Richie; brothers, Ricky Don Willingham and Cordie Bridges; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held a 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Clarks River Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
