Lynn Wallace Owens of Paducah, KY passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Owens was born in Rock Hill, SC where she graduated from Rock Hill High School and attended Winthrop University. Mrs. Owens was a Kentucky Coronel and a Duchess of Paducah. She chartered the first MADD chapter in McCracken County in 1989 as was the secretary of the MADD chapter of Kentucky from 1992-1994. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cunningham, KY. She served as the Assistant Postmaster of the Bardwell, KY for many years.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her two sons, Trey Griffin of Paducah and Tyler (Andrea) Griffin of Bradenton, Florida; two step-sons, Jason (Kelly) Owens of Columbus, Ohio and Patrick Owens of Louisville; two sisters, Mae (Patrick) Laurendine of Magnolia Springs, Alabama and Marie (Gary) Fiala of Magnolia Springs, Alabama; six grandchildren, Addison (Cohen) Rogers of Franklin, Tennessee, Olivia Griffin of Louisville, Gabe Griffin of Paducah, Sutton Griffin of Paducah, Sarah Griffin of Bradenton, Florida and Stone Griffin of Bradenton, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Owens, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. A Private burial will take place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the service time of 6:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
