Lockie Herrold, age 86, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024 at her residence among family members. Lockie was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and virtually attended Massac Methodist Church. Lockie was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on February 7, 1938 to the late Henry W. Boyd and Myrtle Geneva Puckett Adams.
Lockie was retired from Kolb Brothers Drug Company where she worked as Drug Control Clerk. Lockie was a member of the Paducah Stitch and Quilt Club. Lockie loved the water and spent endless hours on the lake, boating with her late husband, Rodney, family and friends. She also enjoyed hosting family and friends for holidays in her home overlooking the Tennessee River.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Wurth and husband, Kevin, of Paducah; one step-daughter, Teri Herrold Reynolds of Paducah; four grandchildren, Matthew (Renee) Wurth, Lesley (Luke) Crider, Whitney (Jeremy) Kirkwood and John Michael Myrick; seven great-grandchildren, Abigail Wurth, Erica Wurth, Owen Wurth, Molly Crider, Anna Kate Crider, Kyndall Kirkwood and Kynzie Kirkwood; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding death were her husband, Rodney D. Herrold Sr.; parents; three sisters, Mary Phillips, Verna Mae Farley and Louise Wilkinson; stepson, David Herrold.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. John Smithmier officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
