Linda F. Allmon, peacefully passed away on September 25, 2024, in Paducah, Kentucky. Born on May 26, 1945, in Marshall County, Kentucky, Linda was a true, loving soul with a smile and kind word for everyone. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.

Treasured mother, sister and grandmother, Linda leaves three daughters, Mitzi (Harry) Curtis of Golconda, Illinois, Teresa (Tom) Sutton of Benton, Kentucky, and Sterling (Billy) Stacy of Paducah, Kentucky, step-daughter, Tammy (Stan) Manea of Paducah, Kentucky, and sister, Bettie Barrett of Calvert City, Kentucky. She also leaves seventeen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews who all drew inspiration from her warmth and gentle guidance.

Alongside her late husband, Loy Allmon, she took immense pride in serving as Campground Caretaker for TVA at the Land Between the Lakes area. Her free time was often spent fishing, cooking and reading. She always enjoyed time spent outdoors. Linda's affection was not reserved for humans alone, she was teasingly called “the crazy cat lady” by many. She loved all flowers, especially red and purple, which were her favorite colors.

Linda is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Loy K. Allmon, stepson, Kenny Allmon, and sister, Mary Nelson. Daughter of the late David Ross and Myra Mitchell Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Richard Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
