Lewis J. "LJ" Frizzell

Lewis Jay “L J” Frizzell, age 71, of Arlington, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.
 
L J was born in Burkley on December 16, 1950 to the late Thomas Wesley and Shirley Jean Jackson Frizzell.  He was a graduate of Carlisle County High School and Draughons Business College and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He worked as a bookkeeper for Mantle Stockyards and as Office Manager for PC Distributing.  LJ was a member of Bardwell Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  He served as Treasurer for the West Kentucky Baptist Association and served with the West Kentucky Youth Choir.  
 
L J is survived by three brothers, Tom Frizzell (Mary) of Hartford, Kentucky, Stevie G. Frizzell (Pamela) of Mayfield and Freddie Frizzell (Leann) of Fulton; one “sister aunt”, Brenda Cook (Doug) of Arlington; and fourteen nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sandra “Sissy” June Frizzell; and one brother, Frankie Joe Frizzell.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 16 ,2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell with Rev. Jason Burnett officiating.  Burial will follow at Burkley Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service time on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
