Larry Gene Trabucco, 80, met his Savior on July 14, 2026.
Born on August 6, 1945, in Wayne, Michigan, to the late Virginia Whitis and John Trabucco. After he graduated from high school, he served his country with pride for two years in the Army.
A hardworking man, Larry retired from his duties at General Tire after 35 years of dedicated service. He then spent several years working as a breakfast cook at Dairy Queen, making many beloved friends along the way.
An outdoorsman who found joy in the simple pleasures of Western Kentucky. He loved to fish and kept up an award-winning garden.
Larry was a family man through and through; his greatest joy was being a father and grandfather. There was never a conversation that didn’t end with a hug, kiss, and an “I Love You.”
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that he is fully healed and in the arms of his Father.
Larry is survived by his wife, Loretta Trabucco of Benton; daughter, Angela Taylor (Chris) of Paducah; son, Derek Trabucco (Melissa) of Benton; stepdaughter, Cheryl McMullin (Timmy) of Benton; bonus son, Jeff Beach (Rhonda) of Paducah; brothers, Kenneth Trabucco (Patti), Clifton Whitis, Terry Whitis (Paulette); sisters, Ruth Ann Stamper and Bonnie Reed; granddaughters, Katy Taylor, Emily Boatright, Addison Trabucco, and Leah Beach; grandsons, Brad McMullin (Amanda), Jacob Taylor, Elijah Boatright, Benjamin Trabucco, Hudson Trabucco, and Aaron Beach; three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxon, and Makenzie McMullin; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Trabucco; stepfather, Clifton Brown Whitis; father, John Trabucco; mother, Virginia Whitis; stepson, William Boatright; brothers-in-law, Sam Stamper and Gary Reed.
