Kathy Marie (Willett) Guminski

Kathy Marie (Willett) Guminski of Kevil, KY (formerly of South Haven, MI) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was born on March 24, 1970 to Lou and Linda Willett in South Haven, MI.
 
At a young age, Kathy had a huge passion to help animals. Over the years, she helped rescue countless animals of all species. Eventually, she started her own dog rescue, Pit Stop Rescue, which inspired many people in the local area to want to do more for the well-being of animals who were abused and neglected. In addition to animal rescue, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her own furbabies, going to garage sales, lounging around her pool, and spending time with those she loved. Right by her side through everything was her husband, Bill Guminski, whom she married on August 27, 1994. Kathy and Bill were true soul mates and inseparable. They spent all of their time together building a lifetime of memories.
 
Kathy leaves behind her husband Bill Guminski, fur children Journey, PJ and Gator, parents Lou and Linda Willett, special niece Jennie & family, and many friends.
 
At this time, a memorial service has not been planned.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary donations to help pay for final expenses. A GoFundMe has been set up.
