June Hatcher, 91, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 9:29 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, Illinois. She was born in Livingston County, Kentucky, on August 12, 1933, to the late Mark Padon and Mildred Thompson Padon. June was the retired owner and operator of The Outlet-Ladies Clothing Store for twenty one years and worked for McCracken County School System at Reidland Elementary School Cafeteria. She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple. June was very supportive of her late husband, Bro. Paul Hatcher in his ministry where she helped him in his ministering and encouragement to others.
She is survived by her three sons, Dale (Kim) Hatcher of Mobile, Alabama, Barry (Pam) Hatcher of Paducah, Kentucky and Gerry Trent (Linda) Hatcher of Brunswick, Georgia; four grandchildren, Ashley Hatcher, Kayla Hatcher, Brylee Hatcher and Bryson Hatcher; sister, Kay Hobbs of West Paducah, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Paul Hatcher; sister, Joan Rumfelt and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jimmy Franks officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
