Judy Rose Burgess Lane

Judy Rose Burgess Lane, age 78, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah surrounded by her family.
 
Judy was born on August 1, 1943 to the late Orville and Beulah Burgess.  She was an active member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton.  Judy loved spending time with her family, UK basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
 
She is survived by her children, Darla (Keith) Ross of Mayfield, Janice (Kevin) Cunningham of Columbus and Bruce (Leighann) Lane of Murray; six grandchildren, Cory (Amy) Cunningham of Clinton, Dustin (Amanda) Cunningham of Columbus, Brittany (TJ) Hargrove, Jenna (Alex) Creel, Olivia and Stephen Lane, all of Murray; six great-grandchildren, Lane and Drew Cunningham, both of Clinton, Addie Shay and Kalin Cunningham, both of Columbus, and Grayson and Jack Hargrove, both of Murray; two sisters, Keitha Voight of Denton, Texas and Barbara Mabry of Knoxville, Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Bruce Lane; seven brothers, W.L. Burgess, Thomas Burgess, Orville “Popi” Burgess, Kenneth Burgess, George Burgess, Keith Burgess and Terry Burgess and one sister, June Dunn.
 
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington with Bro. Dustin Cunningham officiating.  Burial will follow at Arlington City Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
