Joyce Faye Tucker

Joyce Tucker, age 85, of West Paducah, KY passed away at 3:25 pm.  Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.   Joyce was born on May 20, 1938 to the late Robert Leerie Scott and Rebecca Bowler Scott. Joyce was a long time member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she played the organ for many years.   Joyce was a graduate of Heath High School.  She attended Paducah Community College and numerous banking classes that was helpful in her 30 years of working  at First National Bank.  Joyce was a member of the American Quilters Society and the Paducah Stitch & Quilt.  Joyce was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Survivors include two grandsons, Brandon Scott Wurth (Jessica), United States Air Force, Eureka, MO and Bradley Warren Wurth, West Paducah; son-in-law, Darryl and Patty Wurth, West Paducah; one niece, Melissa Scott (Ron) Werner, Orlando, FL; one great-nephew, Jonathan Scott Werner, Orlando, FL.

Preceding in death were husband, William Warren Tucker; daughter, Laurie Tucker Wurth; parents,  two brothers, Larry Scott and Gary Dale Scott; father-in-law and mother-in-law William Brandon Tucker & Louise Webb Tucker.

Services will be held  at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church  with Revs. Jason Medley and Larry Davidson officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday November 29, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the church.
