Johnny Ray Peeler

Johnny Ray Peeler, age 66, of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Lourdes Hospital.
 
Johnny was born on December 11, 1956 in Paducah to Leon and Betty Tyler Peeler.  For 28 years, he was the pastor at Jesus Name Tabernacle in Calvert City. He had a love for helping others any way he could and would go out of his way to do so.  Johnny enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.
 
Johnny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cindy Hicks Peeler; one daughter, Jennifer King; two sisters, Mary Hobbs (R.D.) of Marshall County, Pat Pruden (Rick) of Hickory; two brothers, Raymond Connor (Emma) of Symsonia, Tommy Peeler (Angie) of Paducah; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Lowe (Kami Schnuck) of Paducah, Jonathan Lowe of Leitchfield, Kentucky, Jenna Shepherd (Cody) of Leitchfield, Kentucky; three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Wesley and baby bean.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
A Home Going Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Jesus Name Tabernacle with visitation being held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
