On January 27, 2022, Johnna Cunningham Lewis of Paducah, KY entered into God’s eternal embrace where she finally found her peace and serenity. She looked forward to seeing her husband Perry Lewis and her mother Vira Peterson in Heaven, riding Harleys, playing dice, daytrips seeing and experiencing the best sights, sounds and karaoke.
Johnna is survived by her son, Lt. Andrew Lewis, daughter, Amy Allcock, Son-in-law Randy. Her most favorite grand-daughter Rayleigh Cox, her inherited grandson Randy Allcock Jr., along with her dogters Munchie and Lil’ Girl. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and an entire community and Army of friendships that lasted a lifetime that included Deronda Crane, Sheila Cruse, Jody Smith, Patty Jones and many others.
She dedicated her life to bettering the next generation of the world through her work as a Community Center Coordinator, Teen Group Leader, van driver, and always filling any role that was needed as a soldier of The Salvation Army Paducah, KY Corps. She enjoyed karaoke with family, supporting various bike runs, and attended Free Spirit Biker Church, traveling to Clarksville to see her son, yelling BINGO with her daughter, filling various Mini Food Pantries around town with her Ray-Jay, and travelling adventures that included finding all the good deals.
In lieu of flowers, please provide financial donations to the Youth Programs of The Salvation Army of Paducah, KY and perform a random act of kindness on her behalf.
Services will be located at 2990 Trimble Street at The Salvation Army on Saturday, February 12th, at 2 PM with a receiving of family and friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Major Nick Garrison. The service will be live streamed for friends and family afar.
