John Curtis “Butch” Martin, Jr., age 63, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Butch was born in Paducah on January 9, 1960 to John C. “Jack” Martin, Sr. and the late Frances Watkins Martin. He was a 1978 graduate of Lone Oak High School and former tow boat captain for M/G Transport. He was a member of Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Butch is survived by his father, Jack Martin (Doris) of Paducah; one daughter, Chelsea Martin of Burkley; one sister, Cissy Walston of Paducah; and three grandchildren, Taylor Hill, Matthew Hill and Hailey Sowers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Watkins Martin, and one half-brother, Henry Martin.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 395 Lovelaceville Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the 11:00 service time on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
